The inspiration for MTV VMAs came from the strange beauty of both the natural and manmade landscapes that surround Los Angeles and the United States. Photography captured on location in Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii and Minnesota.
These living landscapes went on to build the tapestry of digital destruction that was part of the broadcast package.
This was presented as part of a book that celebrated the art of the VMAs show.
